Up next on the Spring Break Spam: Chicago Edition, we visited some super cute towns outside of the city. I absolutely love exploring! A lot of the places we went to actually reminded me of my home’s Town Square.

Ah, and here we see that the super-cute aforementioned snow boots have made a reappearance. This time my ensemble features a pastel purple-and-white combination that I am personally a huge fan of. Pastels are my go-to color palette for my spring wardrobe!
PSA: this little Michael Kors purse is probably one of the cutest accessories that I own–which is why I bring it with me basically everywhere! Although I picked it up a few seasons ago, I continue to wear it religiously. This crossbody bag may seem tiny, but don’t be fooled–I have basically converted it into a Mary Poppins purse. I can stuff so many items inside! Maybe I’ll do a “what’s in my purse” post soon 🤔
The most difficult thing in the world is taking a photo with this cap. Yes, it is super cute and oh, so trendy, but the dang shadows completely cover my face. It honestly made taking these photos quite difficult. #FirstWorldProblems
We hit up an antique store in one of the Illinois towns we visited. Because why not?
So this trip truly made me realize just how much I need structure in my life to function properly. On this particular day, we woke up late, which of course resulted in throwing my day and meal times off completely. As much fun as it is to be spontaneous, I guess that I prefer to have every little detail planned out in advance (I mean, have you seen my planner/bullet journal? Not yet? I’ll do a post about those soon as well). Maybe I’ll make it one of my monthly goals to refrain from being so uptight.
But at least the day ended with a great meal. Shoutout to veggie burgers and salads for always saving my mood and rapidly decreasing my “hangriness” levels.
